We will be pouring our brand new 2009 Cabernet Franc at this year’s FrancFest hosted by Buttonwood Farm Winery on September 24th. Tickets are only $35, and there should be about 20 different Franc-based wines to try. There is also a seminar on Cabernet Franc hosted by Patrick Will prior to the Grand Tasting. We’re about to bottle our 2009 Cabernet Franc. It’s made from organically grown grapes right here in the Santa Ynez Valley. Our 2010 Gewürztraminer from Alisos Vineyard has finished fermentation, is cold stable, and almost ready to bottle! We’re going to filter it after the first of the year and plan to bottle it on January 17th or so. This is our second vintage of this wine and we’re really excited about it. We brought in 1.5 tons of Alisos Vineyard Gewurztraminer again this year, which was picked and pressed on September 15th. It’s a really fun wine to make and we hope to have this bottled and released in January 2011. We’re still hoping to bring in some Cab Franc this year as well.
Thanks to Shane Gelinas of Gelinas Wine Group, we’ve opened up quite a few new retail locations in the greater Los Angeles area! We’re really exicted about all the new placements, which you can see here.
